Robert August and friends would like invite you to join us for a week of endless fun and entertainment! We’re getting ready to embark on our 8th year of fundraising efforts hitting the waves and golf balls for the less fortunate children of Tamarindo. And of course…there is plenty of rest and relaxation in locations in Central America others can only be envious of!
Don’t golf or surf? Come anyway! This week is full of activities that will keep you busy and entertained that also includes fundraising efforts to raise money for our local Costa Rican charity CEPIA. The Surf N’ Turf Teams:
Both the surf and golf tournaments are set up for four man teams. The golf tournament is a best ball scramble, while the surf competition involves each team member surfing one heat, with the scores for all team members combined to determine the winner.

Travel and Accomodations: This year Endless Fun Productions is partnering with O'Donnell Travel to offer travel packages to Costa Rica. Check out their website at www.odonnelltravel.com Airline flights by most major U.S. Airlines can be booked into Liberia, leaving Tamarindo only a short drive away. Accommodations will be provided by Cala Luna Hotel and Villas and the Tamarindo Vista Villas. The Robert August Surf & Turf event benefits the Cepia Foundation, a Costa Rican charitable group that raises money to improve the lives of children in Costa Rica. www.asociacioncepia.org Please make all checks payable to H.B.L.C. The Huntington Beach Longboard Crew (HBLC) is a non-profit, 501c3 organization that Endless Fun has worked with previously for the Surf & Turf event. By writing checks to H.B.L.C., any donations can be written off as charitable donations on your taxes. All the money sent to H.B.L.C. is sent immediately to Cepia in Costa Rica for their benefit.

Thursday, March 27 - Welcome Party 7:00pm
Bienvenido a Costa Rica! We’re launching the week off with a BANG at our Welcome Party hosted by the famous Best Western Vista Villas of Tamarindo. Here you can share a cold beverage with Robert August and friends at the poolside bar, register your team for the week’s competition and get the opportunity know your competitors. Don’t have a team? Don’t worry about it! We’ll set you up with one.

Friday, March 28 – Surf Contest 8:00am
Grab your board and get ready to compete in some of the best surf the Pacific Ocean has to offer. This day is reserved for the Surf Contest held at Playa Avellana's river mouth.

- “Meet and Greet” at Noogie’s 6:30pm
Later this evening join Robert August and friends for a night of great food and entertainment at the legendary Noogies Restaurant located right on the beach!

- “Endless Summer” After Party 8:00pm
Watch your favorite surf legend guest bartend at the Monkey Bar at Taramindo’s Vista Villa’s. There will be live music along with a Bikini Contest to crown the Miss Surf n Turf 2008! The evenings events raise money to benefit CEPIA.

Saturday, March 29 – Golf Tournament 9:00am
Tee off at the beautiful Hacienda Pinilla Beach golf course for the four-man scramble tournament. This event will also involve other on course opportunities to win some prizes to take home such as; longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt.

- Pura Vida Party! 7:00pm Later this evening, join Robert August and friends for a catered house gathering with DJ, cocktails and entertainment all to raise proceeds for CEPIA.

Sunday, March 30 – Endless Summer II Sunset Cruise 2:00pm
Don’t forget your camera on this adventure because you’ll see parts of Costa Rica most can’t on this Surf N’ Turf Sunset Cruise. This half-day outing is optional but highly suggested. Here you can sunbathe on the catamaran, snorkel, and party with your friends.

- Surf N Turf 2008 Awards Ceremony 8:30pm
The results are in and scores are counted. Tonight we will determine and recognize the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners at the Awards Ceremony hosted by the Best Western Vista Villas. Later we will be raffling off prizes in effort to raise money to our local charity CEPIA.

Don’t Surf or Golf but want to compete? No problem! We’ll set you up with a team.

Surf only:
If you are interested in just surfing you may enter at $30 per person or $100.00 per team of four.

Golf only:
If you are interested in just golfing, you may enter at $150.00 per person or $600.00 per team of four. *Includes lunch and an official Robert August 2008 Surf N Turf golf polo.
