Who is
Endless Fun Productions?
Sam August, Robert "Wingnut" Weaver, Shea McIntee,
Brennan Slavik and Robert Klug have combined their special
interests and experiences into a world class production
company of and by surf enthusiasts.
Sam August
The son of Robert August, Sam
spent ten years in the minor leagues, pitching for the Mudcats branch of the Houston Astros, and then the Seattle
Mariners. He became known for a solid fastball and had a
career ERA of 2.29.
But there was no keeping Sam away from the surf industry he
grew up with. Sam has spent a lifetime helping to run the
business his father started, managing the marketing and
manufacture of custom surfboards, a new apparel line, and
appearing at trade shows in the US and Europe.
His introduction into entertainment included marketing
support for Step Into Liquid, the award-winning feature film
highlighting surfing around the world.
Robert
'Wingnut' Weaver
Robert James 'Wingnut' Weaver rose to fame for his
appearance as the longboard surf star in the feature film
"Endless Summer II." He continued to surf on a longboard
during a time when longboarding wasn't "cool." But because
of his dedication to the sport, Wingnut has since become
recognized as the premier longboard surfer in the world.
Since "Endless Summer II" was released in 1994, Wingnut has
stayed involved with the surf industry, consulting for
companies, competing, traveling, rubbing elbows with movie
stars and using his mellifluous speaking voice to promote
the sport of longboard surfing.
Shea
McIntee
17 years ago Shea purchased his first video camera and fell
in love with filming everything from outdoor hobbies to live
concerts around the world. His passion to travel and love
for the film industry has built him into a videographer,
director, editor, and now chief operations officer for
Endless Fun Productions in which he started with partner Sam
August.
Today his talents with the camera focuses in and out of the
water, across the globe, and into the office producing surf
films with good friend and stoke host Robert August.
Brennan
Slavik
Brennan grew up in Irvine, California, and started surfing
San O'nofre, Trestles, and Newport Beach at the age of 10.
After graduating from the University of Southern California
with a degree in history, Brennan served in the U.S. Navy.
Brennan became active with the Pacific Marine Mammal Center
in Laguna Beach, California, where he and other team members
rescue a variety of seals, sea lions, dolphins and whales
from Southern California beaches, islands, and oil rigs.
Such animals are routinely nursed back to health before
being returned to their natural habitat. Very young animals
are more often adopted by zoos and other sea life aquariums.
Brennan has been integral as Endless Fun Production's key
investor, also aiding in field camera operations, and
day-to-day operations at the company's main office in
Huntington Beach, California.
Besides surfing, he enjoys flying planes and helicopters,
skiing, and diving.
Robert Klug
In 1995
Robert founded Streaming Media Hosting, a Newport Beach
internet company specializing in creating and providing
innovative solutions for online video broadcasting. His interest in
interactive entertainment media has involved him with a
broad spectrum of clients including The Super Bowl, NASCAR,
Primedia, Bruce Brown Films, Step Into Liquid, The Endless
Summer, The Surfing Heritage Foundation, High Water the
Movie and many more. Robert's involvement has given Endless Fun
Productions an edge in its interactive technical
capabilities. |
